I installed Windows 7 on one of my computers today and man – that was a quick install. Maybe 30 minutes for a clean installation. The system is acting super fast – much better than before when I was running Windows Vista. I spent additional time to reinstall all my custom applications including MS Office 2007 of course. So far so good – no hickups or issues with any of the applications I am using. Good stuff.
I bought Keyword Elite 2 this week and so far I like it. The software is much faster – probably using the same backend as the Affiliate Elite Software Brad Callen was selling at one point. They are using a custom database backend and they do the actual keyword research and not the client from quite a few things. I am not sure if the search number results and searches are accurate though. I looked at Google’s Keyword tool as well as the one available from MSN Adcenter (Excel Plugin), but even combined the numbers do not come close. I guess only a real keyword test through PPC will show who is closer with their estimates.
However, KE 2 has some new features and I really like the time machine feature where it tells you for how long an ad was already running for certain keywords. This can help tremendously identifying good keywords that really make you money.
Keyword Elite is not the only keyword tool I use, but I think this might be one that I use more than others due to the large number of features. Feel free to check it out. I think it is worth your time. Combine this tool with SpeedPPC and you have definitely a winning combination. Read my SpeedPPC Reviews for more information.
